You could expect to see plans and ideas of varying scales and shapes. This is the time we will start to understand:
"How big? How much?"
The goal of concept design is to narrow in on a target budget and overall scale of your project before proceeding into subsequent phases.
This helps to control design fees and prevent expensive design revisions later in the process.
Typically, the Concept Design phase can last for 3-5 or more meetings, with drawing revisions and development between each meeting before landing on a floor plan & budget that a customer is satisfied with.

Depending on the size of the project this phase can be as little as 1-3 months or take as long as 1 year or more to get jurisdiction approvals and permits issued.
